Wedding theme

Susah rupanye nak decide color theme and the whole wedding theme. Before that, aku nak sewa je pelamin, senang kan, hire some people, they come, put up everything and voila! then bayar. BUT! Ibu would prefer to DIY. create sendiri, design, beli barang2, gantung sendiri, pasang sendiri, bukak sendiri. Tak payah bayar. Aku teramatlah susah hati sebab risau cantik ke buat sendiri, do we really able to put everything in the right places? dua malam tak senang tido. Bloghopping here and there, menung sana sini tiba-tiba datang inspiration nak buat GARDEN WEDDING! Ibu abah sangat suka pokok-pokok bunga2 and we decided to do the pelamin outside the house. Aku tgh baring terus bangun, grabbed sketch book and crayon then terus reka2 pelamin. Let me share what I've sketched!

The Props for my pelamin:1. White/off-white curtain - will hunt soon, abah jahit
2. Fushia and orange curtain - will hunt soon, abah jahit
3. Buaian kayu - courtesy jiran sebelah
4. Pagar putih (2sets) - jiran sebelah buatkan
5. Mini pot with colorful flowers - Ibu
6. Paper lantern (pink+orange+white) - will hunt soon
7. Green carpet8. White pebbles (various size)
9. Signage "SELAMAT DATANG"
10. 4 Pasu putih besar - Ibu
11. Fresh flower/ artificial flower - color undecided, will hunt soon
12. Fresh flower petals
13. Cekak langsir - I would like to have big fat white kekwa
14. Bunga2 rangkai and daun jurai2

Theme color = fushia + orange + ivory (garden wedding tapi tade kaler hijau! haha)

Yes, bright colors! huhu! So we'll see how.

YES TO D.I.Y!

Suddenly I got this inspiration to.. ok let me give some intro here. Ibu insists to DIY pelamin but I strictly oppose the idea. Reason(s)? DIY needs a great idea, a very strong kind of idea, less money but extremely more efforts. No doubt. Ibu has the point. Being the stubborn me, I don't mind to splurge some moolah to get the brilliant results. Meaning hire a pro to do the thing. But. Suddenly I got this inspiration to do a garden theme kinda wedding. Why? Since Ibu loves to DIY everything plus she and Abah are so into gardening, pokok here and there so to DIY suddenly becomes a great idea! Yes twice the suddenly, I know. Grabbed my book and started to sketch here and there. Haha, macam wedding planner tau! Ape ko ingat ko pro nak skecth2??? DIY ok? mesti kene poyo2 sketch!

Jangan poyo sangat. Pegi kursus kawin pon belom!! Opps!
