Semalam susah ati berat da naik. Arini, pening wat checklist of my very own *ehem* wedding. Approximately, less than 7months. Ibu mule bertanye itu ini, da decide theme color blom, kad kawen bile nk tempah. Aku ade penyakit. Suke procrastinate benda yg kene plan2 ni. Lepas kene marah sbb xbley jawab satu pon soalan ibu, aku amek ketas n pen, mule scribble checklist. Scribble tau, mcm belom nk buat btol2 lagi. Isk. Actually, I have made tons of checklist tapi 1 pon belom start. Checklist considered as a start la jgk kn. Mari2 I share my checklist. Alhamdulilah, akhirnya bebayar jgk broadband aku maka dapatla online blk! Weee! Kames lpas aku slmt smpai umah dr penang nek bus. Neves naek bus mlm2, smpai kol 3.30am ibu abah da smpai amek aku. rase nak lari pelok dieorg kuat2! dpt pelok dlm kete. Rase gembire. Dpt puase smnggu before raye. Sronok sgt hari2 msak dgn ibu. Lepas buke je terus discuss nk masak pe buke esoknye. Sungguh gembire. Aku tak penah rase sronok memasak bln puase yg sgt byk mcmni. Sgt bsyukor sbenarnye dpt blk rumah lg, jumpe ibu abah, buke sahor same2, smayang jemaah, pegi teraweh, mkn2 lpas teraweh, syukor sgt dpt lg buat smue bnde2 ni.
Disebabkan gaji (bln 7) xmsok lg, ibu sponsor baju raye thn ni! dpt 2helai je tapi rase gembirenye same mcm dpt 7helai mase kecik2 dlu. Terima kasih Ibu. Hari ni peg s.alam nak byar denda buku yg dah 9bulan xanta blk! huhu! drive peg s.alam reminiscing 2years back berulang alik peg keje. Check duit tgk gaji sudah masok! woohoo!! teros kluakan beratos2, bkn tuk shopping tp tuk byar utang. Tapi aku dah nekad sbijik kasot mesti dibeli! ape nk jadi jadilah! hahaha! Peg library anta buku = rm60 ye! pastu g sacc mall, dpt 1kasot cap vincci (je) hahaa! suke! suke! lpas tu peg tmpt kegemaran aku - GIANT seksyen13! Hehehe. byr bil, msok klua guardian, tgk2 tudung smbil kire2 duit pastu pulang dgn penoh rase gembire =)
Haihhh... dah lame xrase sronok mcmni, wpon xdpt shopping sakan tp puas ati sgt2 sebab ksot raya aku cantek! Blk umah tayang kt ibu abah dieorg senyum je, phm agaknye dah lame aku xberbelanja. Yes I'm back! All shopping malls, ready or not here I come! hahaha, ape ko ingat gaji ko beribu2?? sudah2 aku da tak bley shopping da.

Wedding theme

Susah rupanye nak decide color theme and the whole wedding theme. Before that, aku nak sewa je pelamin, senang kan, hire some people, they come, put up everything and voila! then bayar. BUT! Ibu would prefer to DIY. create sendiri, design, beli barang2, gantung sendiri, pasang sendiri, bukak sendiri. Tak payah bayar. Aku teramatlah susah hati sebab risau cantik ke buat sendiri, do we really able to put everything in the right places? dua malam tak senang tido. Bloghopping here and there, menung sana sini tiba-tiba datang inspiration nak buat GARDEN WEDDING! Ibu abah sangat suka pokok-pokok bunga2 and we decided to do the pelamin outside the house. Aku tgh baring terus bangun, grabbed sketch book and crayon then terus reka2 pelamin. Let me share what I've sketched!

The Props for my pelamin:1. White/off-white curtain - will hunt soon, abah jahit
2. Fushia and orange curtain - will hunt soon, abah jahit
3. Buaian kayu - courtesy jiran sebelah
4. Pagar putih (2sets) - jiran sebelah buatkan
5. Mini pot with colorful flowers - Ibu
6. Paper lantern (pink+orange+white) - will hunt soon
7. Green carpet8. White pebbles (various size)
9. Signage "SELAMAT DATANG"
10. 4 Pasu putih besar - Ibu
11. Fresh flower/ artificial flower - color undecided, will hunt soon

13. Cekak langsir - I would like to have big fat white kekwa

Theme color = fushia + orange + ivory (garden wedding tapi tade kaler hijau! haha)

YES TO D.I.Y!

Suddenly I got this inspiration to.. ok let me give some intro here. Ibu insists to DIY pelamin but I strictly oppose the idea. Reason(s)? DIY needs a great idea, a very strong kind of idea, less money but extremely more efforts. No doubt. Ibu has the point. Being the stubborn me, I don't mind to splurge some moolah to get the brilliant results. Meaning hire a pro to do the thing. But. Suddenly I got this inspiration to do a garden theme kinda wedding. Why? Since Ibu loves to DIY everything plus she and Abah are so into gardening, pokok here and there so to DIY suddenly becomes a great idea! Yes twice the suddenly, I know. Grabbed my book and started to sketch here and there. Haha, macam wedding planner tau! Ape ko ingat ko pro nak skecth2??? DIY ok? mesti kene poyo2 sketch!

Jangan poyo sangat. Pegi kursus kawin pon belom!! Opps!

#1 tense

I DO NOT WANT TO DIY MY PELAMIN. but Ibu insists!! Ok let me do the lists.

WHY I DO NOT WANT TO DIY:
1. It's not an easy work. We need to buy the PERFECT kain for the backdrop.
2. We need to make sure the backdrop is hanging nicely tightly there.
3. We need to deco the flowers.
4. The flowers need a perfect pot.
5. The whole place needs a perfect carpet.
6. SKILLS NEEDED!!
7. Cooperation from others IS IMPORTANT. Don't just sit and critic!
8. There will be a lot of arguments and I will be a monster.
9. I WANNA IT TO BE PERFECT.

But, yes, I don't know. Ibu will not allow me to hire a pro to do the pelamin and can I say NO to Ibu? No I can't. I will try to be rationale and place some conditions if they want to DIY the pelamin.

WHAT IS IT?
1. The deco must be in the manners on how I wanna it to be.
2. The colors as well.
3. I want spotlight.
4. Perfect curve.
5. Lanterns.

That's it. Oh, Ibu please change your mind.

The Engagement 2 (Few details)

Kanopi: Courtesy from Pak Cu. Its pink and purple. Suke!

Makan: Masak sndiri. We've learned a lesson though. Nk masak kenduri sendiri jangan involve benda2 bersantan, masak2 lemak ye. Enough said.

Mini dais: DIY. No extra fancy, no fresh flowers loaded. Daun ye fresh. Kutip dgn ibu kt pokok klape sawit. Huhu. Lain2 cousins and kakak tolong buatkan.

Baju: Jakel. Tempah PKNS Shah Alam (Lousy). Salah jahit, besar xikot size. Anta alter pastu zip baju rosak. Thank you, will not involve them again.

Hantaran: DIY dengan Ibu, kakak, dan mkck Ana. Mmg best mck Ana ni, sebot ari ni esok die dtg siap gubah semua. Idea die bagos.

Makeup: AYU. suke make up dia. sangat selesa. A very friendly person. RM80 sahaja.

Photographer: Ashraff (bf cousin aku). Gamba cantik, sangat suke. Cepat. Very friendly. RM150 for 120 4R pictures + 400++ softcopy (minus album).

All in all, sangat puas hati dengan semua except the flow of the majlis. Flaws here and there tapi looking at the pictures I guess It's all worth it.
